I am currently running a forward shift T-case with 4.7 gears and I am getting ready to install duals but I have a small dilemma. I want to make this install as painless as possible so here is my thinking.
I want to use the T-case I am currently running as the rear case but in order to do that it will have to be converted to a top shift case.
The T-case I bought is a top shift case and this is what I want to build my crawl box out of, it will need to be converted into a forward shift box.
I think the most cost effective was to accomplish this would simply be to swap the shift rods from one case to the other, correct?
My second option assuming there won’t be any issues is to build my crawl box and just leave it configured as a top shift case, then convert my current T-case into a top shift case with the kit marlin sells, however would I need a different shifter & mounting plate to accomplish this?
I am trying to leave my current case as intact as possible it has already been clearance and has been running great.
I hope this makes sense
Thanks
Mike.
