I was told that you can run high-steer on a 3 in lift. By the way, what is the width size on your 33's and did you put 4.88 and did you upgrade your birfields?
http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=65878.30Reply #34 he has a similiar situation, high steer with Pro comp 6" replaced with TG springs. He discovered he did not have to move his steering box forward after all. If you have any questions PM Hilux-1983 hes a cool dude and will be happy to help you. Searching will bring up more than you ever wanted to know about high steer. Good luck.
He used Allpro springs.
All pros are good leafs but TGs are garbage.
all-pro not a good brand? i've been seeing some disses about them
if you have future plans of gettin better leafs for example marlin leaf springs, do hysteer then. if you did hysteer right now with rough country leafs and then in the future decided to do leaf springs that move your axle forward, which is what you want, you would have to move your steering box more forward so as to not have tie rod/drag link clearance issues.
can't this all be avoided by initially installing the IFS pump really far forward on the frame? Or is this a disadvantage having it too far forward?
