I have a Lincoln 175 plus and I love it. It will weld just about anything. 3/8 thick steel with one pass. I've heard that the Lincoln wire feed motor is a little stronger than Millers. I like the gun better too. :flamer:  Thats my  :twocents:

MillerMatic 210 here, love it I can do 16 ga.  sheetmetal  up to 1/2" single pass. When I bought it Miller was including a spool gun free ($450) and if you look around you can get free shipping. Try BR Welding supply or Cyberweld both have free shipping and extra goodies with welders, on ebay type in Millermatic.

Holly stacked dimes batman  if you are going to buy a mig welder of that size, then save the pennies and buy the right one  Millermatic 251 is the only way to go. you can dial that puppy in like there's no tomorrow.

Hey Miller just released a new welder that has a self contained gas bottle inside of the high impact plastic case, it looks like a suit case also allows for a remote bottle or flux core, it runs on 110 or 220 and knows the difference internaly it is a new technology that is 90% efficient I believe it welds 16g to 3/8. It deos cost $1400 but is well worth it, if you can't spend that much hit up your local welding shops for thier used welders so far in it's 1st week I've met 6 people who weld for a living, all are selling 1 to 3 welders in order to get that suit case welder lots of 135s and 251s for sale so you might get an even better one cheaper, I personaly bought a Miller 135 welds 16g to 1/4" and I can plug it in any were with an extension cord the hole set up cost 750 with the biggest co2 bottle I could get I have 225 lincoln arc welder for anything thicker I don't weld anything more than a 1/4 anyways :usa:
Sounds like more tree huggin hippie bull :pokinit:
