Got a complete 82 SR5 sunroof and the hardware. This is the factory installed option, not aftermarket. $100 for all the goodies.

It;s not hard to put in, this unit is made for a truck that had a sunroof installed at the Toyota factory. IE, ya just don't cut a hole in a roof where one wasn't at before. The roof on this truck was formed to accept the sunroof pieces. What I have is the miscellaneous 'male' parts. The 'female' part is molded into the roof of the truck. It's not removable unless you cut the whole top off to weld onto another truck that was rolled or something.

Am I making sense to you?

That looks like it. Measurements are roughly 19 x 37.5 inches. The sides slightly taper, narrow end to the front. The lettering on the handle is black followed by red (faded). Words on the wider part of the handle (portion attached to the glass) is in Frog (french). I looked again at your pic, it looks exactly like mine.

If you're hard up for cash, let's make a trade.  Does Marlin have any bellhousings to fit a L series diesel block to a R series tranny? I know he got some Dyna R452's a while back, did any come with bellhousings, perchance to fit the L series diesel? I know he mentioned in a post he had a (or some) L series diesel bellhousings. I wanna bellhousing to fit a 5L to a R151F....

Check it out for me. Trade ya! I hear rumors about a R153 gearbox, some bellhousing to mate the turbocharged 2L to R trannys, and Dyna trucks with 5L engines, all sorts of possible factory combos out there. Not all the L series diesels came with a G52 or W56.

I figure if we can trade, we both handle shipping on each end. Oh yeah, mine has the grey matting (sunscreen), without the BF Goodrich logo.

Do you need to see digital pics beforehand? My camera takes files at 640+ kb, none of that small 150 kb stuff. My work #907/269-6885 9am-5:30pm PST.

Yeah I know, that lame BF Goodrich logos are killing me (two, one on the windshield and the one on the sunrrof). I just need to remove them. The previous owner worked at a tire shop and I guess he got horney

Well its not that I'm hard up for cash (actually I am) but its that I dont need it. My window is just fine. But come next summer time I will have alot more cash to throw at the truck for backup and spare parts and this would definately be something that I would want to have a spare of.

I'll still talk to Marlin about the bellhousing and stuff you are talking about and maybe we can work something out.
If so then sure lets trade, otherwise Im not in any position to buy it for a while now..

I know there's a Toyota bellhousing to mate the L series diesel block to a R series transmission. Not sure what it is though. All L's have the same bolt pattern, so it doesn't matter if I use a 2L, 3L, or 5L. I think there's two different applications: one is 2L-T in a Hilux or Surf (4Runner) and the other is a 5L to R452 in a Dyna truck. Also possibly 3L in the Dyna before the 5Ls came out. I've confirmed the 5L is used in some Dyna trucks - surely it has a R452 behind it... Haven't confirmed the other combination.

I can wait on you to either trade me the bellhousing I'm seeking (#1 choice), the greenbacks, or a non-ABS FJ80 master cylinders with the dual residual valve thinge-ma-bob (2nd choice).

Oh, had another thought. Can we come up with a good bare bones 86-87 turbo R151F tailshaft housing? That I can definitely put to use....
