Well the bottom end has been knocking pretty bad , so lastnight i put in new King rod bearings,
Seems to have stopped the knocking and given me some more power. Not too hard of a job,only took about 2hours. some pics later.

Thanks guys! :beerchug: even after replacing the crank bearings this engine is having problems. I don't want to run  :pokinit: engine parts. So I started to rebuild my spare engine and hope to have it done by the tenth so i can finish registering it. All it needs is a smog.

sent my spare motor (in the pics above) to Putney's 22RE Performance last sat. Putney called this
morning and said it should be done this week! :willynilly: New parts:-Cam,valve seats,ground and polished crank,
rods,pins,rings,rod bearings,crank bearings,front and rear seals,4angle valve grind,head decked,ARP head bolts,timing chain,timing chain cover,oil pump,water pump and of coarse a full gasket kit. :greengrin:

picked up a LC header for the new Putney motor this mornin, just need the block off plate.
