Well, guys, the time has come for me to part w/ my beloved 4Runner. Times have gotten hard, and money has gotten tight. I'm in school and I can't hold a job that will pay for both a truck and a 4Runner, and I've got some decisions to make. Here's what you're getting, a 1985 Toyota 4Runner(originally a 22RE automatic w/ 225K miles) 3RZ swap(96'rebuilt bored over .030 w/ LCE Stage II Cams), R150F w/ V6 chain t-case. The engine doesn't even have 100 miles on it, so it's not broken in. I was going to restore it and start using it at as DD to keep the miles off my Tacoma, but I simply can't afford it at this stage in my life. School has forced me to make some sacrifices... The front axle has been rebuilt and hi-steer(All-Pro) has been applied along w/ Marlin Crawlers new trick axle seals and a TG drop pitman arm. The 4Runner also comes w/ 23'(I think it's 23') of DOM 1.5" tubing that I planned on using for a customer crossmember or bumpers. It's got an all aluminum 2 core radiator that is brand new, Hayden E-fan, 96' Honda Accord seats swapped in(tan), 01-04 exhaust manifold, 33x12.50 Buckshot Maxxis Mudders on 15x10 MT Classic 2's that were going to be painted(just haven't gotten around to it). What it needs:
2.25" custom exhaust system installed(I have everything needed to do it, just don't have the time to get it done right now), new front grill, 2 front fenders, new windshield, some very small rust repair around the windshield frame, the battery box had to be cut out due to rust, that needs to be welded back in, 1 small spot on the rear of the truck that needs to be welded in(where the top sits on the bed rail, 2x1 section cut out to combat rust). Rear roll up window works perfectly. Top is in good condition. The truck is driveable but IT IS NOT ROADWORTHY as it currently sits. I still need to weld on the front shock towers and install shocks, it's in need of an LC80 series master cylinder and brake bleeding, tag is not current... So I'm forced to drive it around my neighborhood to keep the battery charged and the cobwebs out. I relocated the Optima batter to the rear cargo area, no battery box as of right now... I've got 3 yrs and thousands of dollars invested in this truck, and I hate like hell to get rid of it. However, I need to pay off my 05' Tacoma to get that monkey off my back. If I replace the windshield, repair the rust sections I mentioned, paint and body(includes new front fenders and grill), LC80 master swap, have the exhaust welded up, I'm asking $6000 FIRM. If you want to bring a trailer to my house and have all this done yourself, $4800 and it's all yours. No low ball offers, I've got $3000 in the motor swap alone. I've got a build up thread, but I will post a couple pics tomorrow sometime... If you're interested and you wanna talk, email me and I'll respond w/ my cell #.
