:nerv:  Well it ain't a toyota, but it will have toyota parts. 1948 Willys to be called the "Willy Mammoth". Starting on a set of toy axles with ARB lockers, high pinion 5.29's and 38" Swampers. Still using the 132 ci flat head engine with a hole 60 HP   Hoping to find a diesel 4 cyl.

I would rather have a 7.3 powerstroke, but I would only be able to pull it in a trailer behind the willys.

Nah the Cummins is pretty good and small enough to fit into mid sized rigs and with all the upgrades from Bullydog and Banks you dont have to worry about performance issues

Cummins 4BT's are a 4cyl. version of the popular Cummins 6 in all the trucks, they are pretty easy to find but a bit pricey, I would look for a bread truck or something like that with a diesel as most of them that I have seen have a 4cyl isuzu or nissan diesel. I know for sure the isuzus had SM420's behind them.

 Thanks for the info, I will look into that. The engine I have now is only 21" long. I can go up to 25" before the firewall needs to move :shake_head:

Thanks for your help
