Heck jimbo ive been out of it for 2 weeks.   Been in bed for the most part.  I almost finished my f-450 bed but the rain isnt helping.
Really all I have left to do on my yota is to install the sliders.
The wicked vibration almost went away after I drained and fill the tcases again.  Im not sure if its just ready to fail or it worked itself out which wouldnt make any sense.  Basically I want to finish the ford and then I can just tow my rig around.

jimbo74

better be saving some parts for me ;)

hope you are feeling better!

Ya im doing a little better.  I just got finished cutting the legs for my sliders.  Gonna tack weld them up and see if I measured right.  Front leg is the pain since the frame isnt flat there.
Heck we are almost clean out of parts.  I cut my old truck up and its gonna go to scrap soon.  Besides the 2 1st gens that are cut up we dont have any other parts rigs here.

I am also putting 5.29 gears into a E locker which is gonna go up on here to be sold soon.

Hope  your not having to rough of a time over there.  I know youll be stoked to get back here.

jimbo74

updates?

i want to see a build thread of the tow truck too

I have 2 other 4runners heading up with me this year so it should be a fun run.  Also I leave here on friday morning and head in friday afternoon so youll need friday off.

As for my rig,  I have my sliders built I just need to get them installed.  Also have hydro assist.  I have a ifs box I am gonna tap but havent got to it yet.
Ill post pics as I get them done.

Here is a few pics of the sliders I finally got installed.   Turned out pretty good and should hold up fine on the trail.
Today I plan on fabbing up the brackets for mounting the hydro assist. Heck once I finish that im pretty much done on my truck besides a rear bumper.

Nope....Been busy doing a solid axle swap on a 93 toyota truck.
Got all the ifs cut off and frame bungs welded in.  Gonna go mount front hanger today and start getting the axle mounted up and painted.
Its good to have some side work so I can get some tube to make a rear bumper.
I still need to send in the reg paper work and I will get that done this week since your boss is gonna let u go.
