 HOLY SH*% MY TRUCK KICKS ASS      

 Yeah: almost done with my duel timing chain just need to fill her with oil and put on cap, rotor, plug wires, belts damn I better make a list anyway I might actually get to test drive my new Marlin tranny this weekend         

New tranny THE I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH BETTER IT IS
New clutch ALL I DID WAS DRIVE HOME AND NOW MY LEFT LEG HURTS
New water pump NICE AND COOL
New timing chain NICE AND QUIET
LC Eng. Headers I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT HOW MUCH LOW END I HAVE NOW AND NOW MY MOTOR REVS FOREVER
2 1/2" Exhaust from headers back
Magna flow muffler SO VERY QUIET
New head gasket cause of electrolisis NO LEAKY
New gaskets every where NOLEAKY

                WOW THAT'S MORE THAN I THOUGHT

sounds good!  i'm starting the rebuild process on my '82 22R that's going into my truck eventually, i couldn't believe all the stupid little things that add up.  i can just say it would've been a hell of a lot easier to find a truck motor, as one of that vintage guaranteed a flywheel, rear sump oil pan and pickup

hopefully by the beginning of december i'll have enough cash put away to sent marlin my L50 and have it turned into an L52-HD

Good luck man I'm sure it will work out mine did, I had been puttin off a new tranny for a year then I sprung an oil leak and got a weird valve knock, all of which turned out to be worse than I thought, broken t-chain guide, lost rear main, clutch was gone, and an almost blown head gasket. But she was runnin better than ever. Figures!
