Smog results for 83 toy
« on: Jul 25, 2009, 12:59:49 PM »
I passed the AZ smog test again, woo hoo. 1st off, this truck is an 83 california vehicle, DD, with 260,000 miles (fresh rebuild 1k miles on it). 2ndly I'm stoked that it still passes as well as it does. Every time I go to the smog station(every 2yrs), there is always someone asking "did it pass"? So I just givem the   . My question is to all of the smog techs out there, Tell me what your thoughts are about my readings. How do my readings compare to cali specs?

No tricks. Just maintained very well. A tip though, take it to a shop that has a gas anylyzer so that they can tell you before had if it will pass.

Ah-Ha! My town used to be like that too. Up until 10yrs or so ago. We are now condidered a "city" so, we have to abide by Phoenix air quality control. Did you get pics of your interior yet? Oops, wrong thread :ha_ha:
