5 cans?  For some reason when I rattle can I use WAY too much.  I think it takes me about 2 to do a nice hob on an iron duke boat long block w/manifold.  I think doing my a light coat on my sb 81 I used 6-8 cans.

you guys are making it too complicated.  remember you are rattlecanning your truck for a reason.  just paint real quick and if you don't have enough paint go down and buy more
