Well, i need to move the rear axle back a few inches if I ever wanna fit 35s behind the extended cab haha... Guess linking is the only way...

You could use shorter leaf springs and have more room to mount them further back.  The chevy 63s are a no-brainer but there are a lot of other leafs out there that will flex just fine.
