87 4Runner Freshly Lifted, Painted and Rebuilt!
« on: Jun 29, 2009, 09:04:58 PM »

1987 Toyota 4Runner 4x4
230,000 miles.

Price is $4000 and I am not looking to trade. I have put a lot of work into this 4-runner in rebuilding the engine, lifting it, painting it, etc... It looks nice and runs well. If you have any questions feel free to call me and come down or come down and take it for a spin. It runs great now. There is a little bit of engine noise from a power steering pulley that wobbles a little and a small exhause leak where the manifold connects to the exhaust. I've had loads of questions about whether or not its deisel because of it... but alas it is not a deisel!

Call Daniel at 480-274-8198 or if I do not answer (because I work out of town where there is no cell service) call Gary at 480-225-5206.

Here is a list of what is done!

- Independent Front Suspension (Lifted brakets and heavy duty mounting for the axle housing fabricated)

- 6"+ Lift - 3" suspension lift plus 3" or so with tires.

- 33" Maxxis Mudder Tires mounted on 16" Black Beadlock Rims (fake beadlock) w/ two full sized spares (33" unmounted BFG Mud Terrains)

- 22re! NO LEAKS! Engine cleaned and rebuilt: new timing chain, sprocket, timing guides, pistons, gaskets all around, water pump & housing, timing chain cover... does need new PS pulley - wobbles a little...

- Entire vehicle repainted - Primer white (great for offroad or ready to have a top coat of your favorit paint) with black trim around the edges and inside of door edges, etc...

- Front grill and fenders removed, the exterior of the entire engine compartment/firewall was painted black (looks nice).

- Chrome trim around lights in front and rear, etc... sanded and painted black. Rollbar repainted as well.

- Interior carpeting and paneling in the very back (behind the rear seat) removed. Read to rhinoline! and best of all - no old carpet to gather in smells!

- New deck, rear speakers, and wiring in vehicle...

- Black Fiberglass shell completely intact and repainted...

Still up for sale!

Price is $4000 and I am not looking to trade. I have put a lot of work into this 4-runner in rebuilding the engine, lifting it, painting it, etc... It looks nice and runs well. If you have any questions feel free to call me and come down or come down and take it for a spin.

The AC is not charged! All of the components are there and it holds pressure when Freon is put in it. I just picked it up from the shop and it will cost roughly $350 to get the AC charged, dyed, converted to the new form of freon and checked for leaks. If you are building a crawler out of it the AC may not be important to you though... so I have decided to sell it without AC. If you want it I can give you the name of the shop that quoted me the price ($350+tax).

Since rebuilding the engine I have taken it offroad three times. It did great all three times. 4 wheel drive works great.
