I was just kidding. We have been having trouble hooking up so he can see the truck. Is the green truck yours? I saw the write up in one of the mags on it. I like the four seater conversion. What motor is in it and is it still street legal?

I wish I took a better look at it at the show last weekend to see how you did it. I thought real hard about doing that to my extra cab but didn't want to have it that open for cold weather wheeling with the kids. I'm sure we will cross paths again so I can check it out. Why is it on non op?

:haha: I caught a bad turtle to get -100 so that killed the one point I had. Well I did have a guy take one point one time but I guess that's what I get for having a opinion. I had a gut give me a point one time so does that cancel it out?  :dunno:

Not having money doesn't stop when you become an adult. Bills just get bigger. I just plan to make my own bumpers and crap. When I have extra money I put it away so I can retire and send my kids to College. My friends have brand new 30ft + trailers and Rhinos I have a 87 24ft RV and a retirement fund. When we are 60 I will be traveling they will still be working.

My brother has been a fabricator for years. He now has a mobile welding business and a small shop so I just ask him how to do it then have him bring his stuff over to weld it on. I have learned a lot in the last few months now I am welding my own stuff.
The 4 Runner has a All-Pro 5" Extreme lift. When I was doing that kit I would call and stop by All-Pro all the time to ask questions. They were a lot of help.

Do you know anyone with a welder or tube bender? You would be amazed what you can do with a 4.5" grinder and some basic tools. If you cut and fab your stuff you can take it to a local welder and they will usually weld it up pretty cheap.

Your dad has a welder? If so your set! Buy a tube bender from Craig's list and go for it! If it looks like crap cut it off and try again. Just start with bumpers or sliders and work your way up. There is  plenty of info here to get you started. And plenty of people to help.

Have him show you then take all the scrap metal you can find and weld it together. That's how I learned. When you need a weld that you aren't sure about then tack it together and have him or someone you trust finish the weld. I have seen some cool trucks built with booger welds.

Sliders and bumpers. I am trying to sell my truck. If I can do that I am going to buy gears, rear locker, 35s, and whatever else I can afford. I don't think the list ever ends things like this are never done. You can always make it bigger, faster or stronger. Just add money and stir.

Sonora is close to Yosemite, Your lucky. I plan to go to Yosemite later in the month.
I went to KOH this year in Johnson Valley but no wheeling yet. This is my first real build and I am on the tail end of it. So as soon as I get done Johnson Valley will be hot as a mo fo. It is on the list of must go places.

Thanks. I did a All-Pro Extreme life. 5" in the Front 6" in the rear. Is that what you were looking for or did you need other information?
