Want to change oil!  Is it ok if I do synthetic after 45 thousand miles? :confused:

You have to be kinding me, are you really asking a web forum if its OK to use Synthtic oil in you vehicle.  :smack:

There would be no problem going to synthetic at almost any mileage, if it is a high mileage vehicle a synthetic "high mileage" brand would be best though. With your mileage it wouldn't be an issue at all I would suggest doing a blend this change and then next one go full syn.

I have 5000 on my new engine and I just changed to AMS Oil 100% synthetic.
Seems to be fine.
