Best Tire Ever
Awesome, huge improvement over previous design

im going to a toyo mt next now, try those out for at least a set. either 35s or 37s. the 37s are hella beefy though

The Toyos wheel great but are really heavy.

They look fine to me at the store, I want them. but not for awhile the price was $260 for 31x15. I do like the Goodyear Duratrac too.

I dont see why they wouldnt work well.

Goodyear wranglers with kevlar are a great tire. My buddy has been testing them on his jeepspeed desert race car for about 3 years now. Tire works awesome!!! He swears by them. I mounted one of his used sets on my 85 4runner and wheeled the living piss out of them at the hammers with no issues at all. They stick like glue. I am an iroq guy myself but i am definately gonna consider goodyear next time i need tires. I never ran them on my jeepspeed since were are sponsored by BFG. Can't beat BFG baja ta's but my buddy swears by wranglers. Definately consider them next time YOU need tires

He likes them to. He runs the older style wranglers as it is so he will probably get a set of new ones when he looks for new tires. He took them off after testing them for the same reason i did they were 33's our yota's run 37's. Jeepspeed rule no bigger than a 33inch tire

For 4 of them at my local Goodyear i was quoted 1127 plus tax for the 35"x12.5"x15". Was quoted 1100 for the same size tire but the KM2's at another tire dealer. Isn't too awful... Not fond of the looks but if it works im willing to try them... I bet with a 17" rim it jacks the price sky high! I hate that............................

I can get 35-12.5x15 for 200 per tire. I might just end up getting 35 instead. Km2 I could get it for 196 per tire. But I like mtr better.

www.tirerack.com has the BFG muds and new Goodyear MTRs for $189 and $197 respectively per tire. Not sure what it would end up costing in the end though with shipping, dismount/mount and balance etc.

:psss:
I've put in a request with my editor to get these new MTR's my only problem is that I'd need new wheels too. If Im lucky i'll get both and I'll let you know what I think. (not that it matters)

Im trying to get them before MCR.

Thought this would be good since I run the current MTR's or is it the last version now? oh well what ever.

Peterson's 4 Wheel and Offroad tested them against 4 other M/T tires and they were #5.  Interco Truxus was #1

a petersen's test is more ad than test, that just means interco paid the most and goodyear paid 5th most

I've only seen one set of these at the shop since I've worked there, but a couple weeks ago we mounted a set of the old 37" mtr's on a dodge and I was  :headscratch:  Asked the boss the other day if he knew anything of the rumor that some suppliers were blowing out the old mtr's for around $150 for a 37 and he said they were all gone, but I think they tell me these things out of laziness.
