Shift rods for an '89-'95 W56 forward shift t-case
« on: Apr 27, 2009, 09:44:22 AM »

I picked up a forward shift t-case and didn't realize the difference between the early('84-'88) and later('89-'95) t-case shift rails length.
So, I need to get a set of shift rods for an '89-'95 EFI W56 gear driven forward shift t-case(These are the shorter rails).

Does anyone have some lying around, maybe from setting up duals?

Let me know.
TIA

I don't think that would work.
It has to be the t-case from a 22re/W56.

It is also possible just to shorten the old ones, if you have access to a welder or a weldor :)  Cut of the end that sticks into the gearbox, and weld on new stoppers for the shift stick.
Swapped out a G5X trans for a W56 last year and had to do this to the rail opperating the crawler.
