I bent a spring, need some rear springs (cheap)
« on: Apr 18, 2009, 08:06:39 PM »
 :help:

I noticed a sag in the passenger rear.      I found out the spring pack has a bent 3rd leaf, and possibly the 2nd.  They are 63" hybrid packs,  The spring I bent is a 40" x 1/4 stock spring from a chevy.

I need some springs to rebuild my rears, I don't really need the mains or seconds, but I do need some 40" leaves and possibly others for both sides (matching would be nice).

Cheap or free is a plus (maybe trade for a little machine work, I dunno).  I live in Santa Cruz and am willing to travel a little ways.

Kevin

This may or may not help you, but I have brand new (never been mounted) Chinese springs.  I forget if they are 4 or 5" though.   I will never mount them, they are in my storage shed, you are welcome to them for parts if needed.   :beerchug:

If you don't mind me tearing them apart for leaves, I'll take em.
