what 16x8 steel wheel will fit 99 taco w/ out spacers??? help!

what steel wheel can i run on a 99 taco that is 16x8 or 16x7.  cant stand the crome anymore need new wheels!

i think the normal backspacing on toyota is like 3 3/4" but i run 2 1/2"

the 16x7 have 4" backspacing i may have to go with those.

the guy at the tire shop is tellin me that steel wheels will hit the calipers because of the angle...  is he full of :pokinit: or what?

ive heard teh same thing about the newer tacomas like 05+

so the esay remedy would probably be some wheel spacers i think... :dunno:

I have a set of 16x9 beadlocks for sale on pirate. (Not sure how to post a link) They're black steelies with a weld on DIY kit from rough stuff. I think they're 3.5 BS. Located in So cal. Willing to trade too if cash is tight.
