why do you say cruisers will never be the same? Is it only for cruisers?

uh no, that was the whole point in getting the adapter - to run a MINI TRUCK tcase (centered). So my jeep has been down for months n months waiting for the adapter that won't work for me?

Yes, it will work with the mini truck T-case.  All you need is the front adapter plates and the input gear from the Toy Box set to adapt the 420 to the Mini Truck Dual Transfer case set up...the rest is standard Marlin Crawler fare.  I believe Marlin has a kit listed that will do the trick....

Found my answer   spent a little more time looking at the product, and this time I noticed where it mentioned the special 10 spline adapter  :)

This may be a dumb question, BUT.......

Is the Toybox JUST for use with a 420, or is there one available for use with the stock Toy LC 3 or 4 spd?

We currently have adapter plates ready for every transmission listed on the dualcase welcoming page (http://www.marlincrawler.com/dualcase.html). However, to my knowledge (Marlin is not around right now) we only have shafts ready for the SM420 and 465 trans. Marlin told me that by next month or sept we should be ready for the stock Cruiser transmissions - !

DougO: You'r correct, 10 spline.  :monkey:

Brandon: Of course we are targeting the Land Cruiser  gurus with the ToyBox... but as you know, since the ToyBox uses a mini-truck t/case, we then can simply bolt a MC07 or MC08 adapter to it and wa-la, a mini truck dual transfercase setup using one of the transmissions listed on the aformentioned page (the dualcase.html page). So I am getting the word out for the LC guys more so than for the mini truck guys. But I stand corrected, you are right in that it is not only for the LC's.

BigMike,
Do you have the shafts to mate a 4speed to ToyBox in stock yet?
What else would be required if I already have a mini transfer case?

TIA
