Gen 1 Runner rear seats
« on: Mar 13, 2009, 09:07:26 PM »
I have a 86 4Runner with what must be the rarest seats on the earth! I have been looking for the lever style rear seat latches. I have only found 1 other Runner with this style. I have hit almost all the local bone yards (for 25 miles) and still no luck. Are there more of us? If so does anyone know of where I can buy these latches? If so e-mail me @ sigman226@comcast.net.
Why won't the DMV recognize mud as a color?

I am not sure, if you have a pic of what your talking about, I have some seats in my shed, with all the hardware.  I will be dumping soon (anyone want them?).

When i got my 86 4Runner both rear seat latches were broken, and finding replacements are impossible, so i swapped in a set of second gen 4Runner rear seat latches, its not that hard and they work alot better and there all metal, not plastic like the 1st gen 4Runner.
