Hey guys. i have an 85 22RE I was wondering if buying an aftermarket camshaft would be a smart up grade. it will be going on a crawler so it will not have to pass smog. plese let me know if you know of anny good camshafts that will give me lots of power!!!!!!

Lots of people seem to be happy with the 268 crawler cam from enginebuilder.

I really love my crawler cam from engnbldr.com Power comes on at a lower rpm and it pulls harder throughout the rpm range. Only thing that went away was a bit of the high end but I can live with that.

I have both an engnbldr and an LC street pro cam. I "feel" the LC has better pull and a stronger top end. engnbldr is less $$. I'd buy another LC in a heartbeat
