Harness Question- need answers ASAP

I have a 1987 toyota 4runner efi 5spd

will the wiring harness from a auto trans equiped runner of the same year work?

i need to replace the headlight harness, alot of the engine harness, ect.

you have to find the park switch and jump wire it. I found this out when I swapped cabs on an old 69 GMC froma manual to auto and it wouldnt start untill I remembered the park switch had to be jumped

its under the intake plenium... I can go snap a pic of that plug?! the truck I pulled the 22RE out of for the 85 had an Auto harness and we swapped a W56 into it.

crap it was thrown away today :down:

it's just a jumper wire on the plug that goes to the park/neutral switch.

i couldnt find it either, so i cut into the wire right off the ignition switch, and ran it to the starter

The neutral safety switch is on the shifter in teh auto rigs.  It's jumped right at the plug the wires are large white with a black stripe if I'm remembering correctly..... It's been a few years. :greengrin:
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??
