standard & regular cab swap

can the 89 3rd generation standard cab be switched to a extended cab?????   if so what has to be done?.
i love oregon wheelin.

Yes, you gotta fab up your own body mounts. Plenty of people have done it. Try searching here and pirate for swaps like this. Remember, anything can be done.
Bobbed 84 xtra cab, pickin up parts as I go.

If at first you do not succeed, put it in 4low and try again.

You will also have to shorten the bed, or build a flatbed.

If you haven't SA'd your '89, and you have an X-cab that is complete, it would be easier to just build the X-cab.  Under most circumstances the longer wheel base is usually a benefit when wheeling.
'90 black X-cab mod'd 3.0, 33's/4.88's, rear ARB, custom bumpers, sliders, safari rack, etc.
'91 Blue X-cab 22re, 35's/5.29's,Truetrac front, ARB rear, dual cases, and custom Safari flatbed, bumper, interior.
