steering box mounting plates

hey, just wondering if marlins steering box mounting plates arw worth getting, looks like they'ed make that area more stronger correct?
i also read on some frames the top plate dont fit on some frames?


just asking as i'm about to order like my whole wish list
already have marlin sas kit and rear lift, just not installed

Ya those plates strenthen the frame around the steering box      good idea    With those plates you are able to rotate and reposition your steering box if need be   I would install histeer first then position the box where needed and plate it  marlin's products are top notch   just installed marlin brakelines today  great quality

U can make them yourself but the kit really does save a lot of time and work....

you DO need to plate that area

yea, i knew you needed them, just wasnt sure if it was like the axle nuckle braces as alot of people think those are better to just make as you still had to modify the marlin ones

but i'll just order them, if if they for some reason need modified then that's what they'll get

Do it now or do it later. Even with my frame plated it still cracked. Cutting off the old plates was a bummer but it had to be dome. Then I made new plates that went from the x-member to the motor mount.
