Lookin for a 'Yota rig, had a lot of trouble finding one that's just right.  Any 2nd gen 4Runner w/ 22RE has been a friggin rarity.  Hope you got it running again, I am definitely interested in the rig.  And hope it's still in about the same price range...

Also, thought I should introduce myself; since whenever I FINALLY land myself a Toyota, I will be using these forums a lot in the years to come.  I'm in Fresno, born and raised here, just a kid still, only 19 going on 20.  My dad and I do local hunting and have quads (ranch quads, but since upgraded to sport quads for desert riding), but the problem with them is the green sticker.  Most local CA Sierra trails are actually street-legal only, at least where we travel.  So looking at any 4.3L S10's, a decent jeep (no 4-cyl's) but mostly want to stick with a Toyota 4x4 with the tried-and-true 22RE.  Fuel injection is important; straight axle even better, but IFS is great too;  I plan on running probably a 31" on stock height and having a rig comfortable enough to drive every day without lacking the luxury of my fullsize I drive now.  Just a local boy lookin for a 22RE Toyota 4x4 with a MANUAL and one that isn't overbuilt for what I gotta do with it.  Just looking at my needs vs. my wants...otherwise I'd go win the lottery and build a rig for about $50 grand...but who's got that kinda time with all my projects...

DAMN!!!  Looked pretty clean too (minus the venison...nice buck)!  If you don't mind me asking, how much did you sell it for, and running or not?

Ramrod

sold it motor-less for $1800 + brandnew 60 gallon aircompressor and large drill press

Hell of a deal...oh well I was a day late and dollar short.  Thanks for the info.
