2 Sets of chevy springs for sale
« on: Feb 10, 2009, 09:54:19 AM »
1 set measure 64"  (32" x 32")  2 leaf + one cut down overload.   $40 bucks.

1 set measures 60"  (30" x 30" )  4 leaf + one overload.   $40 bucks   ===SOLD===

Located in SLO, CA.  Pickup only.

Pictures on the way.

The 64" came out of my rig, good condition.  I went with shorter springs.

The 60" were thought to be 63".  Never used them.

Both were pulled from chevy 1/2 ton trucks.  Don't remember exactly.

People pull there tape staight across from eye to eye and get 63" but if you measure along with the arch (the actual length) then there 64" or from eye to center pin on each side is 32 and 32 plus 32 last time I checked equals 64, and who really cares there 1/2 ton chevy springs they flex great if you ask me I dont care how long they are.....the 4 pack looks like a 4wd pack they had 4 leafs on the 88-98 but I thought they were still 64 hmmmm the 2wd had 3 leafs and the 99 up had 2 leafs and were a little shorter not sure on the excact length though....... bump for a good price

Hopefully you can see from the pic, the *clean* ones are definitely *shorter* than the muddy ones.

My measurements were along the spring, not *as the crow flies*  :D   :haha:

I can take more pictures.  Can even break out the *nice* camera.  :D

Are these springs ready to go for a 4 runner or do you have to add/subtract leaves or any thing? I imagine move spring mounts?  I'm gonna be in morro bay this weekend. might be interested.

Not sure with a runner.  The muddy springs gave about ~ 3 " of lift on a 1st gen pickup running sky's chevy spring kit.  With the runner being heavier, I'm not sure how much lift it'd give.

I do know I could load up the truck and the 64" did well.
