yeah I'm not saying it's not good, it depends of the situation
like resize a 640x480 pic with a 300dpi resolution that will be close to a megabyte
there are as many different ways to do things as there are situations that need different things done.
Personally, anything larger then 640x480 on a forum like this is just too big. I hate having to scroll back and forth to see the whole picture.
But there is a time and a place for everything and for ease of global resizing, not to mention resizing on the fly ~IE: you go to insert a picture into your post but realize it's too large, no need to go to another program to fix it up, merely right click, resize, and WAHLAH, :biggthumpup: as they say in the deep south, you got'r done, yer posted and on yer merry way!~ I have to agree with Mr Willy that Microsnot Resizing utility is the TITS!! And I am a regular user of Corel Photopaint 12, Photoshop, Irfanview and quite a few other programs of that type.
