I don't know if I will do ARBs or elocker rear... Whatever I end up doing it won't be for while. We are buying a house right now. So it's going to stay the way it is for now. Sliders will be first thing.

I guess the guy rode motorcross and got hurt alot. im stoked on the trade, its soo much nicer to drive. and I just didnt drive the other truck enough.

I was looking at the pinkslip when I sold it and I owned it 3 yrs and 2 weeks and put EXACTLY 14,000 miles on the truck.

After putting almost 10K miles on this truck in 9 months I decided to put it for sale. I have been itching to get another rig and I commute alot for work, so I figured id look for a commuter car. I sold the truck in less than a week...

today I found my next rig 
88 4 runner
SAS, lockers, duals with 4.7s, twin sticked, 35s, winch
300 miles on the swap and tires.
also has half doors and a half hard top.

i will be starting a new build when I get it home tomorrow.  8)

id love to but ill be working. I got boned with the fri, sat, sun shift this year. Im not sure when ill work until this year, but i would like to get a trip in before the snow.

Ah lame.. My roomate got the same shift as you. hes in humboldt though and hes getting laid off either this week or next week.

Humboldt... Damn that's far! And they never really have a fire season. But that's cool atleast it's a job.
Now that the 4 runner is in my garage I'm wanting to go bad!

Funny! I started with a 1998 axle swapped extra cab Taco, sold it and have a 01 double cab now and I'm thinking about selling it for a built 1st gen 4runner since I miss my old truck so much. How's it feel to be in another built rig? Hoping I can come across a deal like you found for a 4runner.

Yeah I found a pretty sweet deal I think. I'm stoked to have another rig. I liked the dc Tacoma but it was too nice to build or wheel. And I miss the power of the 3.4 but I like the 4 runner. It's the first rig I've had that I haven't built from scratch myself but for the price it's a great base to start from.

Right on. Yeah I'm afraid my 01 DC is too nice to wheel but reliability, power and comfort level is high. I may end up axle swapping this rig, who knows LOL
