'84 G52 trans. What would cause it to pop out of first gear under load (taking off uphill from a stop) and engine braking (down hill)
Seems to me that it should pop out one way or the other... But I haven't jumped into the deep end on a transmission yet...
Also, the trans will not down shift from 5th to 4th, you have to shift it up to 3rd a little, then back into 4th and it's fine. Is this a bad syncro? Thanks for any help!
