Smileys
« on: Sep 11, 2004, 06:14:54 PM »
How would I go about using these smileys from this forum on my AIM and emails??
IS that possible, and if so, what do i need to do??

Hey blackdog,

I dont know how you would exactly do that, but since I do not own these smilies and they are not copyrighted, and considering that this is a public forum, any one is subject to 'steal' them by saving the individual gif files.

Once you have the file saved, then you could attach them with your emails, or embed them with a rich html email, but I dont know anything about messenger services since I do not use them-

That is what I kind of figured, but since I'm the village idiot when it comes to computers, I was hoping for something easier :gap:

There's a bunch of funny ones here: http://www.deephousepage.com/smilies/

Wow, those are pretty good. I'll have to add some of them.

I've always disliked the pop-up smiley page here. I need to make it like the vb style where less smileys are on the screen at one time.
Then I will just add a crap load of new smileys and I think it would load much better.

I'll add that to my list of things to do while in Japan
