hysteer questions before i begin
« on: Sep 09, 2004, 12:53:40 AM »
I have purchased the hysteer set up from you guys and the directions leave something to be desired for sure.

I have the marlink set up and hysteer arms and was just looking for some really good advice before I throw it all back together for the set up process. I also have a e locker in the front. it isn't a high pinion but it will work until I can get one and swap it with this one and put this one in the rear.

I have a rebuild kit for the knuckles and all new bearings for the housing as well as seals.

I have new wheel bearings and knuckle bearings and shim packs

is there anything I am missing and is there any really good adivice you can give me about the install into a completely torn down front housing. with the low pinion elocker is there going to be clearance issues with the spring pack or will it work until I can get the high pinion?
too much spent to go slow
too much spent to stay low
too much spent on the go
but it's fun you know

Third members should not be a problem if you baught the Marlin Crawler high steer.  the tie rod goes infront of the axle, not like 4x4 Labs which goes behind the axle and could end up with high pinion third member problems.  You don't even need the third member in the axle to put it together.
