Help ID'ing Carburetor
« on: Jan 09, 2009, 07:41:26 AM »
I've had it explained to me a couple times, but I can't find my carb ID number, and until I get my FSM, the closest thing online is an '85, and some things changed, so I can't figure out where some of my vacuum hoses go. Can someone tell me specifically or even with a photo, where the id number is on the carb?
The 85 FSM doesn't show this top hose, and instead it shows the part it connects to as connecting to the thermo valve in the air filter housing. So I'm trying to figure out if I've got lines crossed or what. I guess better yet, does anyone have a vacuum diagram that fits this carb? It's an '83 Aisin, and has the high altitude compensation deal on it if that helps with the model.

this not be much help but try this website.  it has the FSM you can download and use it until you get one.   www.ncttora.com/fsm/index.html  I took apart my carb awhile ago and didnt label the hoses and i used a haynes manual to figure it out with the emmisions diagram, its almost everything.  you could always plug everything to and just follow the diagram for the canada emmisions diagram.  good luck
