this is what it looks like right now.

I also taught him how to put in 5min of hard work and then spend 15min staring and admiring what you have done...

Just got done shoveling the apron, just in time for another storm to roll in.  We're supposed to get another 6" or so.  We've already gotten about 8 :gap:

Up at Tillamook State Forest they got over 12".  If I had any real tires, I'd be up there.  It sucks not having the $ for some tires.  I'm just limping along the tires I got now.

I had to shovel snow at work today.  All.  Day.  Long.  :thud:  Just after 10am I noticed my plastic shovel had a big Y shaped crack in the center, went about 2/3 the length of the shovel.  I couldn't believe I didn't break it while using it for another 6 hours.

I'm sick of this :pokinit:!  I have spendt the last two nights after work working on things out in the yard, and the mother-in-laws travel trailer.  And it was 22* and the wind was blowing, and according to the wind chill chart it was around 10*.  :yikes:  And then this morning I go out and start my truck up and it's 33* and it felt warm.  :willynilly:  But I have 5 small bridges between me and work.  And one of them is on a corner.  It was slick and nasty, and the one that is on the corner almost got me good.  I saw the guardrail 3 times before I got straightened out!  :yikes:  And that was at 25 mph!!  My tires suck bad, and no weight in the ass end of my truck made for an interesting drive this morn.  On the good side, I didn't spill any coffee on my white work clothes.  :yesnod:

I love snow, but here on the coast it just turns into ice!  So, I went and filled up 5 buckets with gravel tonight to give me some weight.

And the weatherman just said we got another possible 7 days of this crap!

It's snowing today and I'm anticipating  a decent amount to fall.  We're probably in the 3-4 inch range and it shows no signs of slowing down at this point.  It's the slow falling large flake snow which feels like Xmas.

The roads are ice with snow over the top so the trip to work was entertaining.  I drove the bdrunner to the park & ride and then caught a bus.  People around here don't know what to do on slick road so every hill was a graveyard.  The bus got stopped and ended up crabbing up the hill at about a 30 degree angle.  My wife reported no problems in the Mazdaspeed 3 with front limited-slip on her trip to work, but it got new A/S tires last night to replace the worn out "dry" tires.
1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.
