I think toy is the way to go, so many gear options.  I like the Toyota cases.  Atlas if you have money to blow.  I have had no problems with my AA adapter (700R4 to Toycase).

I have a single case with 4.7s, I have no problems getting around the hard spots (con, jungle, whatnot).  Crawling with an auto is so nice.  When I had the 22RE, I always wanted dual cases, but since the swap, I have simply not needed them.  This is Marlins site so your gonna get a lot of opinions.  If you got them, install them.  If you don't then you can always do it later.  With a 4.3 CPI/TPI your gonna almost double in power

i take it when you go through the mud you use the 4hi as the 4.7s would be too low?

Ih8mud.  If your into mud, a 4.3 will get the wheelspeed you desire.  I personally hate cleaning the muck out of everything.  My runner is a fair weather rig.

I must say front burns, are the tops.  Thats what I first looked for when I was changing from a Supra motor to chevy  :shake_head:.   I couldn't find the 205, so I just picked up the 4.3/700R4.   I love destroying perfectly good and exspensive tires :shake_head:.  I bet you can't hold the burn for a full minute, unless you used some wd-40 :shake_head:.  Gratz man.  I would have just went for the 327/700R4/205 just because it works, but thats me .

4runner chevy, for the toy case to 4.3/4l60e... does it have to be a top loader/shifter correct,...or can it be the other style(forward shifter)? for single config.

I believe the answer is top but, some one from this board or AA could help you more on that subject.  Mine is Top, with twins.

the A/A adapter i have has the forward shift hole in the top for the single case config..

I have a plate on it since i have duals.

I have a plate on it since i have duals.

I also have this cutout on the top of my adapter.  Don't know if you'll have to modify or get the linkage.

21 spline, and i've broke 1 t-case input so far. I would love to go 23 spline but don't have the money.

I use my twin stick, when steering gets tough.  I pop it from four to two, and make the steering a little easier.  This is rare cause of the hydro-assist.  Lincoln front and spool rear.
