My truck is having some starting issues cold it will not start with out gas down the carb and once it gets warmed up it still wont start within 5 min. of being turned but i can roll start it and after five minuates it will start until it gets cold again.    its an 1981 toyota 4x4 22r   thanks in advance its got me stumped

sounds like the choke isn't working or the carburetor has some gunk in it. pull off the air cleaner and see if the choke is closed when it's cold. also pump the throttle and see if your accelerator pump is working. look down the carburetor bore while your pumping the throttle and it should be spraying a good stream of fuel.

the bottom of the carb at the intake could also be freezing, tha's why it stops
 and warms up........ then starts
