« on: Aug 24, 2008, 10:50:13 AM »
Got a D44 outa grand wagoner, converting to hy-steer. I have been trying to research the process but I'm still some what confused, has anyone done this process that could help me with the specifics?

If you want high-steer, you're going to have to source 2 flat top knuckles (I think from a Chevy Dana 44), have them milled flat then drilled and tapped for high-steer arms; this route is a little less expensive than going with Parts Mike. If you go to his website ( www.partsmikeparts.com ), browse around a bit in the steering section and you'll see all that you need. If you have any questions after that, give him a call and he'll explain it.
