Looks bad ass Wyatt  ,I didn't know about this build, really nice work.

Thanks Pepe!  We really like this build the best.  It is compact, yet big enough to fit a family of four comfortably and it has as much flex as my truck does.  We're going to put in a crawler box from Marlin soon and I'm hookinh up the ARB this weekend.

It's not a kit persey, although we do have all the pieces to build it again.  We used the same design as we did on my '05 Tacoma, An FJ Cruiser and another 2000 Taco.  It is a three link with a panhard bar and the top link is on the passenger side.  You can use it with any solid axle you want to from a Dana 44 to a wild custom unit like I did.

Here is a link to the build up of my truck.  This may help you.

It will take you from the purchase of the truck to where it is today.

UPDATE!

Dan brought his truck over to my house and we did some final touches on it. We installed his ARB pump and switches, aded some extra lights and just cleaned up some stuff. It's pretty much done now and I think it is one of the best SAS out there.

Here is the fnishe truck in my driveway. Yes he drove it on the freeway 52 miles away with no issues.

We installed the ARB compressor in the engine bay.

We then installed some aux lights and we didn't want any problems so I ordered some nice Marine rocker switches like the ARB switches and some relays. The relays came with pre-wired pig tails that made the instal clean and simple. When all was doe we ended up with lights tthat work and switches that won't burn out. Every connection was soldered an covered in shrink wrap too.

I liked these relays so much I bought a whole bag of them.

Thanks Pepe!  I'll be out of town during Thanksgiving.  Wife got me a cruise for my birthday, but thanks for the invite and please keep me in mind for other runs.

Sorry I didn't get to you sooner.  Been real busy.  I'll take some pictures of it this weekend and ex[lain what we did if that will help you.  Don't know how far you have gotten since you posted but I'll get those up anyway.

thanks ya. the trucks kinda a slow build so ya we havent mounted the box yet. i was thinking about grinding the nut that goes on the inside of the frame rail, down to about half its thickness since theres no room.

i wish i would have got a 4 door
Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

Dan decided to add a toyota style flange to his Dana 44 which makes his set up in the front stronger than the 1310 strap style u joint he had before and he is now able to use a completely all Toyota front driveshaft instead of the hybrid jeep/Toyota unit he had before. He also has alot more flex than he did before and it runs smoother too.
