What else do you guys think we should do?

Should I add a couple more forums?

How about Creating model specific areas?
Like for the pickups, we could have some areas:

79-83 Truck Talk
84-89 Truck Talk
90-95 Truck Talk
96+ Truck Talk


ETC?? and we could do the LandCruisers as well...

Dividing it up by years would be too much I think. Rigs are changed so much nowadays that it almost doesn't matter what year you started with. All that determines is the body style..if it even does that.

I do like the idea of lc and mina section..I also like the idea of ann area other then truck..atv,motorcycles,and such,,Yea its that way on another bord but its neeto. :up:You could call it other toys,or somthing like that.After all most of us have stuff besides just toys that are used for fun..

Not to be critical, but the new divisions only takes me more time each visit to find any topics I might want to post in....add more forums and I'll only miss more info.  Right now, your biggest hit day was 66 people, and you have 17 forums now.  Making people spend their time clicking forums to find topics rather than reading and replying will only frustrate them.

I've deliberately kept ih8mud.com with a minimal number of headings to keep participation easy and to keep questions from getting lost in non-visited sections.

Hey woody, that is what I was thinking in opposition to my idea for seperate model forums.

I was thinking that when we get 1000 members, then I will expand it some more. I didnt want to do to much at a time, and I think I just crept to the border line with the additions I made.

I also need to remember that the whole purpose for this forum is for Customer Support, so it is a very specialized forum. But I would also like to make it an enjoyable place for those who just like to stop by, and I believe that it has become just that.

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys, I am locking this thread and I will be thinking about future improvements on the side.
In the meantime, if you have any requests, post them in the Forum Announcements and Questions forum.
