Hey guys, been reading this bbs for some time now. Finally sold the jeep for something that was actually designed to go off road!
81 shortbed, 385,000 miles!!!!!!!!  However I just changed out the engine.  I have $7,000 bucks to play with any suggestions?

I used to live in Redmond, W. Lake Samamish (sp?), and Everett.  I love Sea Fare!   :beerchug:

Thanks guys, Yeah living out here in the Desert can be a downer if you dont have some sort of wheeling hobby. I love getting out away from people and I figure most cant follow a lifted locked yota over the rocks. Yeah Im in the Air Froce, have one year left. Been fun but after this its back home to Nor Cal where I can visit the Rubicon and all the other awesome trails up there. As for the truck I want it to be a daily driver, however I want it to be capable off road. I dont mind getting stuck too much so Ill go with a rear air locker, 35's or 33's. Duel ultimate etc.... its funny but my biggest delima is whether or not to go with 33's or 35's.

Throw in some 5.29's and go 35's you will be so much happier. I am running 36's and want to go bigger. Granted mine is not a DD but still size does matter
