Like rocks?
« on: May 30, 2008, 10:19:50 AM »
I have feared for years that land closures will leave no wheeling areas in the future, so for once I planned ahead. I bought this 40 acres with wheeling in mind for my "golden" years. I always suspected that the "golden" years they talk about had something to do with peeing yourself, I will let you know in a few years if that is really true :gap:
On to the pictures.

WT, I will give you 100 bucks if you can climb the rock face in pictures 2 & 3 of the last set. It is around 20ft tall, more like 30. The pictures don't really give you a good idea of how steep & how big these climbs are

The rivers were amazingly full on the way over. This is the Wenatchee, the standing wave is 8ft or better.

It would have to be a full on throttle assault to even try. You would break more than 100 bucks worth of parts on that rock face I think :yesnod:

It is in the boonies. There is one NAPA store within a 100 miles & that is it. Closest "big city" (1000 people) is 30 miles away

The view pictures are taken from where I will eventually build. The far away mountains in the one picture are the Canadian Rockies

I haven't for years. There are tons of deer in that area. We saw 70 or more in 3 days out there last week. Only had 2 try to kill me though as I was driving :ack:

Thanks Duffil, I looked at 20 or 30 places & spent over 2 weeks until I found the land I liked the best.
