Where can I get information about a leaf spring to coil spring conversion for a 1970 Fj40

I guess this isn't a big deal w/ Toyota owners.  Quite a few Jeep owners have made the conversion!

i've been considering going to coils in the front of my '79 pickup.  i'm thinking about building radius arms and a panhard bar ala old ford f150/bronco suspension

there's no kits on the market so you'll have to either make it yourself or have it done, i think looking at jeep long arm kits would be good for ideas

I spoke to Brett Lovett (owner) of Superlift and he said that they are working on some prototype suspensions for the Fj40s.  They aren't due out to be beta tested until
later this year.  So, I guess stay tuned.

I checked out a supa sweet wishbone 3 link in the woods this weekend under a Toy truck. Used a 1" heim joint on the center of the axle where the wishbone link attached. Wish I would have got some pics.

search on mud and pirate quite a few people have done it and can give you some info iam currently 4linking my cruiser front and rear

oh and proffitts cruisers makes a kit for around 1400 to your door for 4link front and rear

I wonder if you could set it up like how 2nd gen 4runners are? if so check out allpoo they have links and coils and all that junk. just a thought.

i doubt it all the axle mounts are going to be for a centered diff and the frame mounts might work,
