In iceland you would be consitered mad if you brought a subject like that up in a conversation.

We belive that coils are more realible, longer flex, better control of the flex (easy ro modify it) and over all smoother.  ad coils are cheaper than leafs over here.

but the leafs are only bolted on in 2 places so they parhbs are cheaper to maintain?
4runner body on a hilux frame = Hi-Runner.
 2,4 dti duals 2,28 x 2,28 to 8" 5.71 with arbīs  and 39,5" trxus
gathering parts for my goal which is
350 Chevy 700r4 auto to 2.28 x 4.70  and 4.88 9,5" cruisers diffs,diamondaxles and cable lockers, 44" richard cepecs

I am sorry  I giot the title wrong.   

I belive that coils are the only way to go ......   

I donīt know about any sites that hold information about this conversion  but what are you thinking about I have done this a couble of times on other types of yotas,  and if you wait a litle I will post pictures of my hilux leafs to coils conversion both front and back soon.....   (look in prodject hirunner) I am only waiting for the parts then I will begin

how are you going to do the front?  i'm interested, wouldn't mind doing coils in the front though leafs are simpler...
