92 4 runner 3.0 automatic

how do you guys feel about the 3.0's automatic in a crawler? i dont know if i like the idea of the automatic over the 5 spd the problem is the rig i have has the auto in it and i want to build it but need input brfore i start anything

i think it will be fine running an auto and you still add dual cases

i like to hear that but the dual cases wont come until later i have 5:29's to run in it

i heard that with duals and 5.29's when u hit the brakes, the tranny wont let go, and u gotta throw it into neutral everytime

x2.  I've heard this too.  You either have to get bigger brakes, throw it in neutral or get a higher stall speed torque converter.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
