im not to concerned about gas miliage its how many rpms your throwing at the motor doing 65 is my concern

it will be the same as what you got now.. in 4th gear

I have a 302, C4, toyota case and 4.37s in my yota and I think it rocks.  The adaptor is from AA cost like 750   Even with the 3 speed the truck will do 100mph, scary as hell but it will do it.

im fairly new and know this is old but i had to chime in. i hav a toy and i installed a 5.0/302 and a c4 with a shift kit runnig around 400hp. the funny part is the HO5.0 came out of an 83 merc capri that had a carb! the c4 is tough and i would like over drive but the way i went (39.5s)MPG dosen't matter lol
