Ok thanks guys  :gap: I was also wanting to know what does this mean: 4.5" offset
Installed 4/1984 - 8/1988
Forward Shift T-Case, 4.5" offset
ie- i know what forward shift means, just not the 4.5 offset part. that i highlighted in green. Thanks.

I would venture to say it has a 4.5" off set shifter.

oh so the shifter would be 4.5 offset, that makes since i guess, so the shifter in the truck for the t-case would be 4.5 offset to the right or left correct? therefore the t-case shifter would not be in the middle right. i think i get it.  :gap: so this would not make any difference to how the drivlines line up would it.
