thinking about going to efi

Ok my question is does any one know if painless or anybody make a wire kit to switch my carb truck to efi? I got ecu off a 92 2 wheel drive and  just wondering what kinda head ache I am looking at to convert my 85 22r carb motor to a efi motor? :dunno: :help:
85 TRUCK AUSSIE IN FRONT LINCON AROUND BACK MARLIN 4" SPRINGS UP FRONT WITH 63 CHEVYS ON BACK. REBUILT 22R WITH CRAWL CAM AND FEW OTHER THINGS NOTHING HUGE JUST WAITING TO GET PROPANE ON IT. RUNNIN 35'S M/T WITH MY LONGFIELDS 30 SPLINE SUPER AXLES. 4.7's IN T-CASE AND ON THE WAY WITH DUAL CASES. FULL HYDRO WITH TG ROCK ASSULT PUMP AND 2 X 6 AG RAM

canyou get the whole harness out of the donor truck? that would be the easiest... there are some companies that make stand alone efi conversion kits... i think the name howell and ors

yeah i can get it all just do not know were it all goes back to on intake...lol

thats the fun part. if you can take a picture of it before you take it apart. and mark everything. when i do wires, i draw it all out and include the color of the wires and what it goes to.

the blocks and hard parts are relatively the same....

you can retrofit it if you have an FSM and all the wiring you are supposed to

FSM = Factory Service Manual

Basically an invaluable tool to anyone who works on their rig themselves.

I do believe you would have to get an 85-87(i think) wiring harness and ecu for that to work. Toyota liked to play with their plugs...
