Topic: 4runner seat mods?

hey does anyone know if it is possible to put 2nd gen 4runner rear seats in a 1st gen? what mods if any do you need to do?

Cut old brackets off seats you want to use and make sure the seat rails are ground clean.
Cut brackets off original seats and weld the old seat brackets to the new seat rails.

I fit some tacoma seats in my 85 last week, worked great!

The 1st gen passenger seat slides forward for back seat access.   I dont think the 2nd gen 4 door version does and I 'm not sure about the very rare 2door 2nd gen.  You may be able to change the mounting rails though.
