same as mine.

I was just gona buy a kit   but do 2 the fact of cuting a hole in the fender and my bushwackers  it was not fesiable.

your realy stuck 2 buy a kit    or make your own from pvp or pvc  pipe. (some look nice done right)
but  you have 2 start at the air box/ AFM   wich limits what you can do/route.

Just don't use dryer hose :nonono:

Instead of paying a load of money for a snorkel I would make my own.

2.5-3" piping from fender to top of the a-pillar, 90° turn thru fender, some more piping and turns to route to intake and some silicone hose to connect the intake to the piping and to allow for some movement. You can either have an inline airbox or put a conefilter on top of the snorkel.

Here is what I did, not really a snorkle but it did move the intake up a lot higher and I do not have a bunch of sewer pipe hanging on my rig..

I also made my own for my '91.  It is a complete boonie fab, but it does the job.  It isn't a permanent fixture, tend not to come across that many water x-ings here in CA, and takes less than 10 minutes to install, and cost me less than $15.  I went w/2" pvc(2.5"o/d), installed a water tight junction at the air box behind the headlight, and ran a "L" tube from the air box up above the hood.  You have to remove the headlight, and is why it takes about 10 minutes to install.  I went this route from having to ave the engine breath through a long straw 99% of the time it was running.  I will install it and post a pic later in the week.

Here is my boonie snorkel.:gap:

Looking out the windshield     Mount at airbox   Rubber coupler

It actually takes less than 5 minutee to install.  I unscrew the top 2 screws of the trim around the light), pull the light out, unhook it and install the snorkel.  The only thing I didn't do was tie the snorkel to the brush guard.  I originally had planned to run one out the fender and along the side of the windshield, but when a wheeling trip destination changed at the last minute I had to make something quickly.  It isn't pretty, but it only took about 20 minutes to fab up, and cost less then $10.
