scrap metal in or around sac cali?

where do you guys take your metal beds and cabs and steel to scrap it?

Check on craigslist in the wanted section.  There's a scrap place down there that sometimes posts up here looking for scrap.  Also, check with them ahead of time to see how stripped/cut up it needs to be.  Depending on when the next ship leaves to china they may or may not be too picky.

blue collar has scrap in the back of the shop.  They still charge you for it though.  I went to the dump and they have a spot there just for metals. I also checked craigs and it was a little high $ but they would have came out to the house and got it.

so whats a reasonable price for 2x4 1/4 wall square tube? something for a bumper.
